500 Acre Century Farm
The Fox Farm was founded in 1918 by W.H. and Clara Fox and designated a Century Farm in 2018. This scenic and productive working farm is located in the quiet valley of Possum Hollow near Pretty Creek and the Piney River in the agriculturally based community of Nunnelly. Only eleven miles NW of Centerville and just over an hour west from Nashville the land boasts an abundance of hay fields, grazing pastures, wildlife, hardwood forest and history. With approximately 182 acres of pasture and 298 acres of forest the farm could host several endeavors; hay, horses, crops, timber, wildlife or simply return to a less complicated time as a family retreat or homestead.
Two small homes are on the property including a home that was built in 1905 along with one of the original log cabins. Public water is available, and Hickman County is dedicated to bringing high speed Internet soon. This certified Tennessee Century Farm is full of hills, hollows, and expansive views. It is a peaceful place and a multipurpose place with endless possibilities. The farm could be a solid investment or maybe your thoughts are focused more by a desire to add your name beside the 5 generations who have carved their initials in the huge, old beech tree known as the Initial Tree.
